I made a rainbow cake for a co-worker/friend's baby "sprinkle" today. It was a little time consuming but totally worth it. I used the Joy of Cooking's recipe for white cake and cream cheese frosting, following Martha's presentation instructions. I cooked each layer for 12 minutes. Unfortunately, I can't find the Joy of Cooking's recipes typed out on the internet, and I just don't have it in me right now to type it all out. Maybe I'll get to it at some point. For now, here are the pics from last night. Dudley spent the entire evening under my feet waiting for droppings. All he got was a little bit of flour on his face.
