Until this past spring, the bedroom next to our room was full of junk and the cats' litter boxes.
We cleared out the room before the big renovation marathon in May and June. Here's what it looked like before we painted, redid the ceiling, and replaced the carpeting with bamboo.
It's embarrassing to admit that the room was such a mess for two years, but it's all a process, right? There was just little motivation to get through all the junk; it was going to be a small, ugly room that needed to be painted and new flooring even without all the junk in it.
This is the room now:
We still have a ton of work to do on the room. Like other rooms, we need to add pictures, closet doors, bedside tables, nice throw pillow and shams, and curtains. I don't love this quilt, but there are way too many other things to buy to make it a priority. I'll go through the next steps for the room soon.
