Dining Room Update

Like the connected living room, the dining room has been fairly done for a while. The recent changes that we made include the light fixture, floors, ceiling, and the new French doors to what will be the study. Like with the other rooms, the new floors and ceiling make the room feel less 1980s and more open/updated/crisp. The light fixture made the biggest difference though. We spent a ton of time looking at chandeliers and ultimately went with the most budget friendly option. I love how it turned out.

We still have updates to make, but it's at a pretty good stopping point for now. I'll go over the next steps for this room another time. For context, here are old pictures that show the room's progression.

Early December 2009: Original paint color in living/dining room. Foyer painted light blue (not a great color). Using plastic table as dining room table. Just put in French doors to the den.

January 2010: Painted living/dining room light gray. We were also given a dining room table.
