About this cooking/house/photography blog

The name of this blog "...sweeter than ever" comes from the Four Tops song that was our first dance at our wedding "Loving You is Sweeter than Ever." The blog started out as a recipe blog. After our wedding in April 2008, I had the goal of trying three new recipes a week for our first year of marriage (156 recipes). I started off well but then got busy with other things. Then, in 2009, we bought a house and started focusing on updating our house. At that time, the focus of this blog changed from all recipes to some recipes, house ideas/inspiration, and house progress.

I still love cooking and decorating but have found a new hobby: photography. I have always loved taking pictures on my point and shoot camera and editing them in Picasa. Now I have a DSLR camera and am loving the process of learning how to use it and photoshop. With this new interest, this blog is also turning into a way for me to process what I'm learning about photography.
