The Den- Part I

Since we bought our house in March, getting our den put together has been our first decorating priority. We spend most of our time in here and want it to be a room that we love. We are almost done with the room now. I think we still need a couple of things, but we have made a ton of progress since we moved in.

Here are photos from our first week in the house:

We bought my green lamp from Z Gallerie a few hours before we closed on the house. I love it!

We bought the green chair and the TV cabinet from the clearance room at Haverty's in January. We had planned to put the green chair in a bedroom, but it is much more comfortable than we had anticipated.

We bought most of these pieces from Z Gallerie while we were waiting to close on the house. My initial plan for the den was to do aqua and lime accents. It didn't work well when we first moved in.

We bought this couch on New Year's Day 2009 at Haverty's. Unfortunately, Haverty's delivered the wrong color. After we got the right color, we ended up exchanging it for another leather sectional that is six separate pieces.
