I really liked working on the flooring....until I had to start ripping (cutting the boards lengthwise). The first board was fine. On the second one, the saw kicked back, a metal piece came loose and started scraping against the blade, and sparks started flying. I tried it again and still had issues. We got another table saw, but I'm sort of terrified of it. We are thinking about just having them done. I was having fun doing them, but we are not sure if either of us will get comfortable ripping a six foot long piece.
