Kitchen Details- Part One

I finally hung the chalkboard and letter "R" that we have had for a while.  I like the way they look but think they will look better when I finish a few other details.  I may end up repainting the chalkboard frame another color.

I decided that the red polka dot runner will look better on the kitchen table until I buy the runner that I want (see below).

We are also planning to have valances made out of the fabric below in a couple of months.  The fabric is more vibrant than it appears in the photo; I took the photo on my iPhone.

Then I am going to use the fabric below to "wallpaper" the back of the shelves.

Now I just need to get up the nerve to get moving on wallpapering.
